When it comes to accessible bathrooms, we understand that each of our clients has different needs & styles. We take all of this into account when assessing what can be done to improve independent living without compromising on style.

We can work with you on small adaptations to make life easier, such as simply adding grab rails. At the other end of the scale, we can totally remodel a bathroom, or even convert a garage or build an extension to accommodate an accessible bathroom or wet room.
How We Work
To begin with, you’d have an initial conversation with Grant Bell or Thomas Higgins (directors) to discuss your requirements. Both are highly experienced in adapting homes & bathrooms to make life easier for people with reduced mobility.
We offer free home assessments & assistance with grant applications for both accessible bathrooms & accessible home improvements. For larger projects, we can also provide a design service or full architectural service, and assistance with planning permission & building warrants.
We are long-standing members of the Federation of Master Builders, and the quality of our workmanship is second to none.
New Accessible Bathrooms: Design & Build
While we can always remodel an existing bathroom, sometimes it makes more sense to create more space. This can mean re-designing the layout of the home to create space that will work better for an individual and family/guests.
If more space is required, we have converted garages into bedrooms with accessible bathrooms en-suite. In the same vein, we’ve built extensions to create more space, part of which has been dedicated to accessible bathrooms or wet-rooms.
We make the process of creating new bathrooms very simple. We can organise whatever’s required to turn your dream bathroom into a reality. This varies from project-to-project, and could involve occupational health, architects, planning permission, building warrants. We organise all of this for you & then carry out all of the work.
Accessible Bathroom Adaptations
We understand it can be difficult or impossible to step into a normal bath safely. This means we are used to working with local authorities & occupational health specialists to adapt a bathroom that suits your needs and allows everyone to live with more independence in their own homes. This could involve simply fitting grab-handles & shower seats changing baths for walk-in showers etc.
While the bathroom obviously needs to be functional, we also have a focus on creating a room that is modern and stylish (as opposed to the bleak “disabled bathrooms” which were all too common in the past). This includes taking care of all the lighting, heating, decorating and tiling etc if it’s necessary.
Ultimately, we want to leave you with a beautiful bathroom that you can use with confidence.
Made a first class choice in choosing this company for our extension and renovation of house. . The work was complicated by the fact that I am disabled (wheelchair bound) and Grant and his team were always sympathetic towards my needs. The work was completed on time and in line with the estimate provided at the beginning. Overall this was a great company to deal with.
