Accessible Wet Rooms & Level Access Showers
Highly experienced when it comes to designing & installing both accessible wet rooms & level access showers. We’ve been doing this across Glasgow, Bearsden, Milngavie and all surrounding areas for years.
It can be extremely for people with restricted mobility to step into a traditional bath or even into a shower tray. For some people who are disabled or wheelchair-bound, it may even be impossble. A wet room or level access shower can make access easy & showering totally safe. Of course, we can also install stylish shower seats & grab bars for additional safety (if required).
We have been designing & installing safer showering options for many years. As part of the service, we offer free home assessments & assistance with grant applications for both accessible bathrooms & accessible home improvements.
As wet room trays start at just 800 x 800mm, it’s very easy to convert your existing bathroom, and they can even be installed in en-suite bathrooms. The space taken up by a traditional bath can be utilised for a level-access bathroom. Both options are highly economical ways of maintaining independence, as it can be done without any need for construction work.
As we’re an all-trades company, we can also look after the electrics, lighting, plastering, tiling & decoration…leaving your new bathroom in a “walk-in” condition.
Wet Room Design & Build Service
If you’re planning to either remodel your current space, or increase it through an extension or garage conversion, ask about our design & build service.
To begin with, you’d have an initial conversation with Grant Bell or Thomas Higgins (directors) to discuss your requirements. Both are highly experienced in adapting homes & bathrooms to make life easier for people with reduced mobility.
We make the process of creating new bathrooms very simple. We can organise everything from occupational health to architects & planning permission/building warrants. What’s actually required varies from project to project…but we’ll look after it all.
We are long-standing members of the Federation of Master Builders, and the quality of our workmanship is second to none.
Made a first class choice in choosing this company for our extension and renovation of house. . The work was complicated by the fact that I am disabled (wheelchair bound) and Grant and his team were always sympathetic towards my needs. The work was completed on time and in line with the estimate provided at the beginning. Overall this was a great company to deal with.
