As any architect will tell you, getting the right builder for an extension is very important. The majority of our work comes from architects who recommend us, as they know we can turn their plans into a reality.
Firstly, we are an “all trades” building company, with a large team that includes highly-experienced builders, joiners, roofers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers & decorators.
This means we are totally in control of all aspects of the building & finishing work. It’s also easier for our clients to speak with one company, than different contractors.
Secondly, you’ll initially be speaking directly with our directors Grant Bell & Thomas Higgins for advice, free surveys & the quotation.
Assuming the work goes ahead, they will then manage all aspects of the project…working seamlessly with architects, planning departments & yourselves to ensure the house is ready on time & on budget.

Design & Build Extensions
If you’re at the “thinking about an extension” stage, it’s an ideal time to contact us. We can help explain the whole process, and can show you lots of extensions that we’ve built in Glasgow, Bearsden, Milngavie…and pretty much everywhere in the West of Scotland.
We try & make building an extension as simple as possible. As design & build specialists, we love talking to clients while they’re just thinking about an extension. As you’ll find, most builders only want to get involved once you have drawings & planning permission.
In our first meeting, you can tell us about your ideas for the extension, what you’d like & what is essential. We’ll gladly offer suggestions to help you get the most out of your space & budget.
The next step would be to get an architect involved. We have different architects who specialise in different types of extensions.
Once you’re happy with the plans, the architect & ourselves will then help ensure you can obtain planning permission for your house extension, and the final building warrants to actually start the building work. We’ve worked with the planning departments in Glasgow City Council, East & West Dunbartonshire & Renfrewshire and will help you throughout the process.

In that case, you’re probably looking for a good builder who can do a great job for a sensible price. Look no further.
Your project, regardless of how good the plans, will depend entirely on the quality of your builders. We can show you examples of work we have completed & can then supply a quotation.
In most cases, we carry out all of the building work and all of the interior work. This includes fitting flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, decorating etc. By the time we’ve finished, the only thing you need to do is move in the furniture. Of course, if you have your own trades that you’d like to use for kitchens/bathrooms etc, we’re more than happy to just quote for the building work.
Quite simply, we aim to make the whole process simple. We’ll create a beautiful room or building, to your specification, and finish on time and on budget.
