How We Work
In the first instance, you’d have an initial conversation with Grant Bell & Thomas Higgins (directors) to discuss your loft conversion. Both are highly-experienced & knowledgable builders, and will be happy to give advice on making the best use of your space.
We can organise everything for you – architects, building warrants, building & internal finishing. Of course, we can just convert your loft if you already have the drawings.

Loft Conversion Design & Build Service

We are design & build specialists, and love talking to clients while they’re just thinking about a loft conversion. Usually, builders & joiners only want to get involved once drawings & building warrants etc. have been organised.
In our first meeting, you can talk to us about your ideas for the loft. We’ll gladly offer advice to help you get the best conversion for your budget.
The next step would be to get an architect involved. We have architects who specialise in loft conversions in different council areas. This means that we should be able to create a design you’ll love and get the building warrants quickly (and planning permission, if it’s required). Once you’re happy with the plans, we can submit a quotation and hopefully arrange to progress with the conversion.
Finally, we are an established “all trades” building company and members of the Federation of Master Builders. We have a large team that includes highly-experienced builders, joiners, roofers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers & decorators. This means we are totally in control of all aspects of the building & finishing work. Ultimately, the converted space will be in a walk-in condition by the time we’ve finished.

The quality of your loft conversion will depend entirely on the quality of your builders. We can show you examples of work we have completed & can then supply a quotation. You should also gain some reassurance from us being in the Federation of Master Builders.
In most cases, we carry out all of the building work and all of the interior work. This obviously depends on how the space will be used, but can include bedrooms, bathrooms, wet-rooms, lighting, decorating etc. By the time we’ve finished, the only thing you need to do is move in the furniture. Of course, if you have your own trades that you’d like to use for decorating or fitting bathrooms, we’re more than happy to just quote for the construction work.
